Mamblog - The Joomla Blog

I have finished testing Mamblog offline, just on my local computer running XAMPP and Joomla! 1.0.12. The component works just fine, other than the automatic ping which is not provided, so I have to ping to web directories everytime I post a new blog.

Does anybody know of a Joomla component that does this thing? Do you know a plug-in that pings the new blogs/articles to the directories? Don’t hesitate to leave a comment if you happen to know one… ;)
